AvoDazz - Art, Culture and tourism festival - Capital Park
It's festival time! Capital Park, the Capital's arty suburb will host its annual Art, Culture and Tourism Festival, the AvoDazz, from 10 to 11 May 2008.
Art, Food, Wine, Music for everyone!
Enjoy music performances and entertainment while browsing through art exhibitions, craftwork and food and curio stalls. South Africa's main producers of avocado products (eg avocado oils, health and beauty care products) will also exhibit during the Festival.
The Festival kick's off at 06:00 on Saturday, 10 May, with a Fun Walk/Run starting at Flowers Park. The art, curio and food stalls will open at 08:00. The first day of the festival will be filled with competitions, such as the Avo Dip Competition, and lots of fun for the kids.
Entrance will be FREE!
Mothers Day Picnic in the Park
Why not spoil mom with a picnic in the park. Sunday activities include a combined church service at 09:00, more art, food and curio stalls, a tea garden and the AvoDazz Fashion Show which will start at 12:00 and a wine tasting which will also start at 12:00.
The AvoDazz will take place in Flowers Park, Flowers Street in Capital Park, Pretoria.
